This video demonstrates a yubi-nage: a one-finger throw. It is part of a Shodan (1st degree black belt) test. This is considered the most difficult of the many Shodan tests – because it involves several subtleties, including extremely precise control to avoid breaking your Uke’s/partner’s finger. Break the finger and the test is stopped and cannot be restarted for at least a month.
