Sensei Jeff Wynn is a Research Geophysicist with the US Geological Survey, Cascades Volcano Observatory, in Vancouver, WA, and a former Adjunct Full Professor at the University of Maryland. He holds Godan rank (5th degree black belt) in Budoshin Jujitsu, a 2nd degree black belt in Russian Combat Sombo, and a 6th degree black belt in Taiho-Jutsu.
Kelley has been described as “The Greatest Mom in the Galaxy” by more than one person who knows her. She saw a Kuboton on a friend’s keychain, and followed it (and her friend) to our school. She currently holds SanKyu rank in Aikido and recently earned her Shodan (first degree black belt) in Budoshin Jujitsu.
Cory Wynn is a guest instructor at our school. He is the Aquatics Director at Great Wolf Lodge, and served as an EMT in the Sterling, VA, Fire and Rescue Squad. He’s been a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the Clark County court system. He currently holds a Nidan (second-degree black belt) in Budoshin Jujitsu, and a black belt in Combat Sombo.
DiAnn has raised six kids and one husband. Her kids started her in Jujitsu... but she finished first with her recent Shodan (first degree black belt) in Budoshin Jujitsu.
Louise is a former college instructor (Linguistics and Literature) at Northern Virginia Community College, George Mason University, and King Abdul-Aziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She has been a reporter on Capitol Hill, and has taught Biology, Physics and Chemistry labs at WSU-Vancouver. She currently holds Nidan (2nd degree black belt) rank in Taiho-Jutsu.
Jared Wynn holds Nidan (2nd degree black belt) rank in Budoshin Jujitsu. He has advanced training in Cinco Pares Kali, Doce Pares Arnis and other blade arts. He has been a Combat Sombo black belt trainer. He earned an MBA, and works in Los Angeles as a department manager in the film industry - and visits our school periodically as a guest “blade arts” instructor.
